Sort Out

Sort out means to organise things into the right groups or places, or to solve a problem.

What Does Sort Out Mean?

Sort out has two common meanings.

  1. Put things in order: you divide things into groups or put them in the right places.
  2. Solve a problem: you deal with a mess, a plan or a quarrel until it is fine.
